Google Consent Mode banner template

If you use Google consent mode without IAB TCF, we recommend the Google Consent Mode template for your banner text.

Apply it

1. Open Banner Builder and select your website.
2. On the Content tab, choose the banner language. When IAB TCF is off, you see Recommended for Google Consent Mode under the message.
3. Click Use the Google Consent Mode template. The message is filled in the selected language (English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese).
4. Repeat for each language your banner shows, then save.

The setup wizard applies the template automatically when Enable Google Consent Mode is selected.

What it contains

• The purpose of the data collection: operating the site, measuring how visitors use it (analytics) and personalising content and ads.
• A link to how Google uses information from sites that use its services: business.safety.google/privacy. The link is in the banner text itself, on the first layer, so visitors see it without opening another page.
• An affirmative consent option: Accept All, next to Reject All and Manage Preferences.

Editing the text

You can adapt the text to your own processing and privacy policy. Keep these three parts. While the Google link is in the message, Banner Builder shows Google Consent Mode template in use.
