UID United Kingdom is the UK branch of the Union of International Democrats (UID), an international non-governmental organization founded in Cologne, Germany, in 2004. Established in December 2024, the UK branch works to strengthen the social, cultural, and civic participation of the Turkish community living in the United Kingdom.
The organization promotes social integration, equal citizenship, cultural diversity, and community cooperation through educational programs, cultural events, and public engagement initiatives. Its activities include supporting young people, empowering women, preserving cultural heritage, and raising awareness about discrimination and social inclusion.
UID United Kingdom also brings together professionals, entrepreneurs, community representatives, and civil society organizations through networking events, business forums, and collaborative projects. With committees focused on education, cultural affairs, diplomatic relations, and economic development, it supports community participation and stronger connections between Türkiye and the United Kingdom.
