CCPA and CPRA
What Is a CCPA Request?
A CCPA request is a request made by a California consumer to exercise their privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Depending on the request, a consumer may ask a business to:
Access personal information collected about them.
Delete personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information where applicable.
Businesses covered by the CCPA must provide methods for consumers to submit these requests and respond within the required timeframes.
